The plan´s strategy, that involves 5 environmental non-governmental associations and 1 forestal association, intends to increase the efficiency of the methodologies and lighten up the administrative/financial processes. In this way, it becomes possible to take the best possible advantages of the local administrations potential and to foment new initiatives such as the ones that those entities have demonstrated in the conservation and promotion of the natural heritage of the region (the northeast region of Trás-os-Montes).

An independent evaluation commission was created and it is composed of ONGAs, EDP and ICNB members that follow in detail all the actions, keeping a close look on their financial implementation and on the scientific value of the procedures.
Several scientific reports are presented by all partners to confirm the correct application of the several lines of action of the Plan.
