The actions undertaken for the improvement of the population levels of this species are the creation of feeding crops for the preys, the construction of breeding fences for the European Wild rabbit, the supplementary feeding, the construction of traditional pigeon houses, the correction and revision of dangerous electrical power lines and the attraction of new breeding pairs to abandoned reproduction areas. To confirm the success of these actions a scientific and technical monitoring plan was traced.

Simultaneously, environmental education and promotional actions will occur, with the objective of presenting this species and its principal threatening factors to the general public.
